about me
I am currently a Design Media Arts student at UCLA,
I love experimenting with different media to create playful experiments, design, and interactivity ( ◠‿◠ )
Art practice across fine arts, UI/UX, video media, and curating.
I enjoy observing the subtle details in my surroundings and turning inward through introspection. I’m drawn to experimenting with the unique qualities of different media, allowing my work to engage in a dialogue with both environment and mood. My art often focuses on specific objects, landscapes, and the traces left behind after use—capturing the emotions that emerge in the space between the intimate and the tangible, or between forms that echo life itself.
Through a process of internalization, the imagery in my work tends to shift—blurring and abstracting the original subject. This invites the viewer to interpret the work in their own way, imagining the textures, histories, or memories behind each piece. I see my practice as a way of evoking moments that feel personal yet universal, much like the act of recalling a memory that is at once vivid and vague.

囍 Forever love wedding
immersive video game 2025

囍Forever Love is an immersive game, explores Taiwan's cultural heritage through the lens of pan-doh (辦桌)—the traditional outdoor banquet that reveals layers of Taiwanese identity through food, ritual, and community. The game use wedding feasts as the microcosms of Taiwan's religious practices, culinary traditions, and social structures.
Through an interactive game experience, I reconstruct the simultaneous rhythms of a pan-doh wedding: chefs preparing dishes in the corner, servers navigating between tables, performers entertaining guests, and the ceremony itself unfolding. Players follow a structured menu and performance schedule, discovering how each element—from specific dishes to their timing—carries symbolic meaning tied to prosperity, family, and spiritual blessing.

Each hand represent different person'a favorite dishes, chick on it will be able to read their stories.

Having left my hometown of Beitou, Taiwan, and living on my own in the United States for over a year, I still see vivid images when I close my eyes—the temple at the corner of my street, my grandfather’s gray-blue scooter who passed away ten years ago, and the feeling of heavy rain under the northeast monsoon. It just like a eternal field inside my body and I am the fruit growing on this field, I sometimes sweet sometimes bitter, I turn into red and green, I rotten in the dirt, no matter what this filed always catch me.

Using sketches to capture the emotions tied to a particular time and place allows me to preserve those moments. When I look back at my sketchbook, it feels as if I am transported back to that place. After some time, I return to the surroundings to photograph and experience them again, layering in the sketches from that moment. This creates a dialogue and connection between past and present, intertwining time and space.

At first, I observed the organic patterns created by the wearing and removal of socks, along with the textures of their internal seams that locate in between the concrete and the abstract, evoking a sense of tiny life forms. By using talcum powder, the pigment layers became flaky, acquiring thickness. Leveraging the water-repellent properties of cicada thin xuan, the complete preservation of the flow, accumulation, and thickness of the pigment layers was achieved. Without any backing or varnish, the artwork undergoes abrasion, cracks, and shedding of pigment layers throughout the process of unfolding, resembling the gradual wear and tear of socks.

I observed various marks left by keys on the apartment walls—text, abstract strokes, images, and symbols—like a message board. The areas for these “messages” are divided by staircases and floors. I made this work to advocate this phenomenon.
